Hector Children's Academy at Castle School

Offer for gifted primary school children

The Hector Children's Academies offer particularly gifted primary school children a support programme developed for them in addition to regular school lessons. The Hector Children's Academies are financed by the Hector Foundation II, supported by the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sport and scientifically supported by the Hector Institute for Empirical Educational Research at the University of Tübingen and the Leibniz Institute for Research and Information in Education in Frankfurt.

Holistic support

For years, the Hector Children's Academy has been offering the Schloss-Schule Kirchberg in the subjects of chemistry and computer science, with the aim of providing holistic support. The aim of the offer is to create intellectual and social challenges, to bring gifted children into contact with each other and to expand their interests and knowledge. In addition, the independence and social competence of the children should be trained and of course it is also a lot of fun for the children.
